Welcome to Main River Quarter Horses in Gainesville, Texas. Main River has been a breeder of top quality American Quarter Horses since 1992.

We maintain a select group of money-earning and producing broodmares by such stallions as High Brow Cat, Peptoboonsmal, Smart Little Lena, Reminic, & Grays Starlight. Our horses have gone on to compete successfully at the highest levels in cutting and reining. The facility is comprised of multiple arenas and round pens, barns for the show horses, and plenty of pasture space for young horses and broodmares. We always have a nice selection of prospects, show horses, and breeding stock available for sale.

Main River serves as the training facility for NCHA trainer Josh Townsend, who always keeps 150 cutting cattles. We also have 30 mama cows and some longhorns.

Main River Quarter Horses is a division of JOMM RANCH, owned by Johannes and Astrid Orgeldinger of Grosswallstadt, Germany. Located along the banks of the Main River, JOMM Ranches has been a major importer of American Quarter Horses into Europe since 1977.
